Job Title: Instruction Designer (Open Rank - Instructor - Senior Instructor)

Position #00828517 - Requisition #35308

Job Summary:

The Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes at the University of Colorado offers a range of programs designed to educate and empower healthcare providers to deliver evidence-based care for patients at all stages of type 1 diabetes (T1D). One of our flagship initiatives, STOP T1D, has a dual mission: (1) To raise awareness among healthcare providers and communities about the critical importance of early T1D detection; and (2) To equip healthcare professionals and organizations with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to effectively screen, educate, and monitor patients. STOP T1D aims to expand access to pre-clinical T1D screening for both children and adults, driving progress toward universal screening approval. Through cost-effective, evidence-based programs, we are working to ensure that every individual is screened and that no one suffers from a delayed diagnosis.

Additionally, the Ask the Experts program offers direct support to healthcare providers and families across the U.S. who screen positive for T1D-related antibodies or celiac disease, providing practical guidance and education for effective disease management.

We are seeking a highly creative and innovative Instructional Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement engaging educational programs for healthcare providers. This role involves conducting needs assessments, designing curriculum, developing content, and providing impactful learning experiences that enhance knowledge and skills related to T1D screening and monitoring
