Summary: The Outside Parts Sales Representative is responsible for growing parts business while continuously identifying and developing new business opportunities through existing accounts and prospective new accounts for Stoops Freightliner - Western Star. Duties and Responsibilities: * Frequent local travel in assigned territory to make sales calls to trucking/leasing companies, truck/trailer independent repair facilities, municipalities, and school bus garages * Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and current customers * Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services provided * Actively seek and identify prospective new customers through cold calling * Develop constant awareness of market/industry trends as well as competition/competitive products and communicate these with management * Develop sales plans with management and review sales plan progress regularly to ensure personal and departmental goals are achieved * Timely completion and submission of daily customer visit logs * Maintain customer contact information and communications utilizing the Company's CRM Salesforce * Review sales activities, new sales opportunities, and sales objectives with management * Assist with customer parts returns, issues, and disputes as requested * Participate in job-related training and development * Collaborate with internal departments on any customer needs * Forward any possible leads for sales or service to the appropriate person/department * Help customers with warranty problems when applicable per the policies and procedures of Stoops Freightliner - Western Star * Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent * Minimum 3 years' experience in heavy-duty truck parts or service * Working knowledge of trucks, diesel engines, air brakes, HD transmission, axle, and driveline * Superior selling skill based on probing to uncover customer needs * Good customer service, communication, telephone, and organizational skills * Self-motivated, driven individual Truck Country / Stoops Freightliner-Western Star Offers: * Competitive Salary * Comprehensive Benefit Package * 401K Plan with Company Match Truck Country / Stoops Freightliner-Western Star is one of the largest Freightliner dealership groups in the U.S. today, serving customers at locations in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
