Position Overview

This role can be based in any of our US locations: Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Santa Clara, CA; Ashburn, VA, or UK Location, London in alignment with our flexible work policy (3 days in, 2 days flexible).

As the Director of Leadership and Learning Curriculum, you will architect Vantage's global capability development strategy. In this pivotal role, you will cultivate a culture of continuous learning and leadership excellence, driving initiatives that build the critical competencies for our continued growth and success!

Spearheading content strategy and roadmaps, you will lead all aspects of both enterprise-wide learning curricula and targeted leadership development programs across our three regions. Through world-class learning solutions, developing consistent capability-building, establishing a unified leadership philosophy and development approach! Simultaneously, you will tailor priorities to address regional nuances, ensuring localized needs are met seamlessly.

Leading a small, high-performing team, you will collaborate with HR partners and cross-functional leaders to analyze current and future capability gaps proactively. With this strategic insight, you will design impactful development solutions that accelerate employee growth, fortify our leadership pipeline, and future-proof organizational competencies.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide thought leadership for leadership development and capability development across our global business

  • Suggest and implement approaches and to upweight leadership capability at all levels across Vantage using our Vantage Leadership Expectations as a foundation

  • Develop a strategically aligned capability development curriculum enabling Vantage employees to develop the skills required to perform highly in their roles and grow with us into the future

  • Execute the annual cycle of goal setting, career and development planning, ongoing performance check-ins, and mid-year and end of year performance reviews

  • Be a strategic partner to HR and business leaders, providing practical, employee-focused advice and support

  • Operate as a champion of our vantage culture and core values through personal interactions and outputs

  • Lead a team of knowledgeable and dedicated L&D specialists, driving global consistency across core development initiatives, whilst ensuring critical regional requirements are supported

Duties

  • Innovate and implement a comprehensive strategy aligned with organizational goals and talent needs

  • Identify current and future capability gaps across the organization, proposing and crafting learning initiatives to address these

  • Demonstrate thought leadership leveraging trends and best practice to develop innovative, sustainable initiatives that increase our success in attracting, developing and retaining a diverse, versatile workforce

  • Design and implement targeted leadership development programs and enterprise-wide learning curriculum

  • Develop and supervise the design by others, the creation of high quality, engaging learning content and materials to drive organizational performance

  • Partner with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to develop a solid understanding of business needs and develop tailored, training programmes in alignment with organizational needs and Vantage competencies

  • Lead organizational wide early careers and employability programmes designed to grow our own talent across critical areas of our business

  • Partner with the Director Performance, Talent and Engagement to continuously improve, embed and execute the annual cycle of goal setting, career and development planning, ongoing performance check-ins, and mid-year and end of year performance reviews

  • Lead the delivery of leadership development programmes and learning initiatives

  • Provide facilitation and coaching where required to foster skill development, knowledge transfer, and behavioral change

  • Coordinate with internal external facilitators, trainers, and vendors to ensure high quality program delivery

  • Partner with our learning management system team to drive the use of Workday Learning to provide effective learning experiences and collect learning data

  • Ensure learning programs and curricula align with organizational culture, values, leadership expectations, and strategic priorities

  • Develop a culture of continuous learning, growth and development across Vantage

  • Implement strategies to promote learner engagement, motivation, and personal accountability

  • Measure and report on key metrics related to learning effectiveness, participation, and impact

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high performing team of learning and development professionals

  • Lead budgets, resources, and external vendor relationships relating to learning and development initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources Management and/or Learning Accreditation for example CIPD Level 5 Qualification preferred &/or equivalent experience

  • Significant Learning and Development experience operating at a senior level, ideally for a global business

  • Experience of organizational and change management in a high growth business

  • Strong leadership and project management skills

  • Understanding of workplace and learning trends, and the implications for a global, multi-generational workforce

  • Experience of both in person and digital learning onboarding content design

  • Data Center or high-tech experience is preferred, but not required

  • Driven, strong communicator, excellent written & communication skills along with high attention-to-detail, required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Travel is expected to be less than 10%, but may increase over time as the business evolves

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $160,000-$170,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
