Overview 0.9, 36hrs/week, Day shift, 7a-7:30p, every other weekend. Must be able to work during the week. The Patient Care Assistant is responsible for performing basic supportive care to specified patients/families under the direction and supervision of an RN/Care Manager. Collects, documents, and reports data to the RN Care Manager but does not interpret data. Demonstrates competence in providing age-appropriate care and service for pediatric patients from birth to 21 years, and selected adults. Why Nationwide Children's Hospital? Performs clerical office coordination and administrative tasks as necessary.
Qualifications Education: Licensure & Experience Required: Active State Tested Nursing Assistant OR One year of comparable experience in a hospital setting within the past three years OR Nursing students can qualify if they have successfully completed the fundamentals of nursing course(s) of an approved college/school program.
