Job Summary:

The Clinical Program Coordinator is for the Center for Aortic Diseases at the University of Vermont Medical Center. This position is responsible for the coordination of care for all patients with aortic pathologies such as aneurysms and/or dissections. The coordinator will function as a clinical leader of multi-disciplinary teams providing and coordinating care to patients and families. The coordinator position will also be responsible for triaging referrals, post-op calls, scheduling testing, maintaining clinical databases, and participating in developing protocols, policies and procedures and standards of care.

Education:
State of Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license with a BSN degree required.

Experience:
* Some experience in the cardio-vascular field (cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, or vascular surgery) is preferred.
* A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in some aspect of clinical nursing.
* Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
