Join Our Mission The TFCO (Treatment Foster Care Oregon) Team Leader is responsible for coordinating all aspects of behavioral treatment for approximately 10 youth placed in treatment foster care homes. The Team Leader works collaboratively with certification, treatment foster parents, probation officers, youth aftercare resources, and stakeholders. The Team Leader manages client progress and oversees the delivery of services ensuring that treatment is model specific and meets fidelity standards. The Team Leader is responsible for facilitating Treatment Foster Parent and Clinical meetings weekly. The Team Leader is under the direct supervision of the Program Director and participates in weekly supervision. This position does offer a sign on bonus of $5,000, payable in 2 parts. Job Responsibilities * Provides direct supervision of direct reports, conducts performance evaluations, coordinates and conducts staff training, and provides recommendations for other personnel actions. Monitors time and attendance/overtime.
* Responsible for leadership and supervision of staff, including development, hiring and selection of staff, performance evaluation, directing and assigning work, managing work environments, approving timecards and time off requests, and making recommendations for other personnel actions.
* Develop and review individual treatment plans for program youth and coordinate the implementation of these plans through the supervision of program staff and foster parents.
* Ensures medical necessity is established for Core and CFTSS (Children and Family Treatment and Support Services).
* Oversees implementation of clinical treatment plans by assuring trauma-informed individual and/or family counseling sessions, and therapeutic groups with all youth and/or families as required by agency policies, protocols, and procedures.
* Monitors CFTSS services according to treatment needs.
* Ensures all Core services and CFTSS are delivered in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
* Develops, completes, maintains, and tracks all mandatory appropriate documentation in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
* Responsible for maintaining paperwork in accordance with regulations and auditing and billing requirements in all youth and family charts.
* Coordinate skills training, individual and family therapy for assigned cases.'
* Direct weekly clinical team and foster parent support meetings.
* Meets with DSS to coordinate and match youth referrals.
* Provide case management to program youth and families within an empirically supported treatment protocol and fidelity standards.
* Provide 24-hour on-call telephone support for participating treatment foster parent and program youth. Including, but not limited to the management of behavioral crises. May occasionally require in person response outside of regular business hours.
* Involved with adherence to all contractual obligations and applicable county, state, and other regulations, including record keeping and case documentation.
* Coordinate contacts with schools, probation departments, mental health agencies, child welfare and other relevant community entities.
* Work with other agency team members in on-going agency-level quality improvement activities.
* Adheres to agency policies and procedures; follows and supports agency mission, vision and values including participating in internal surveys and data collection for continuous improvement initiatives.
