What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with production personnel and management to seek most efficient maintenance soltuions.
  • Delegate and supervise multiple employees and contractors to accomplish maintenance needs as well as hands-on involvement when the need arises
  • Establish strategies to efficiently and cost effectively maintain or increase production in conjunction with management and division priorities
  • Enforces all company policies including safety and government safety regulations
  • Communicate equipment and facility needs to the Ops Manager as needed
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available as needed by the business
  • Communicate consistently changes, additions, completion dates and times, and cost and time estimates related to maintenance activities to management
What You'll Need
  • Industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' management experience in an industry setting with emphasis on personnel management, scheduling and organization
  • Preferred related facility and heavy equipment maintenance experience - with heavy emphasis and experience with fluid hydraulic and conveyance equipment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics
  • Communicate effectively - oral and written
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and employees across the organization
  • Ability to maintain material handlers, excavators, tractor trailers, and hydraulic equipment
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Sets high standards for self and others
  • Exceptional leadership and team building skills
  • Drive continuous improvement; employee productivity, uptime improvements, lead time reductions
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
