Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

Stellar Solutions is seeking a Liaison Officer (LNO) for the US Space Force's (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) Warfare Integration Office (WIO). The person in this role will be a technical translator between the warfighter and USSF SSC program offices. Their involvement in the COCOM's exercises and situational site visits is essential for SSC to build, field, and help the forces adopt and use SSC's current and future capabilities.

The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with Defense (SSC) and Combatant Command (COCOM) experience. This work is essential for the battlefield of today and tomorrow and directly has an impact on how the U.S. delivers space capabilities to the warfighter.

Required Qualifications:

    Aerospace or related field Associates degree and 12+ years of experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience
  • Can analyze operational and technical requirements into acquisition requirements with the SSC Program Offices
  • Able to composes studies with senior technical staff
  • Must have experience in communicating with all levels of management
  • This position requires TS/SCI


Desired Qualifications:

  • SSC / Defense Space experience
  • COCOM experience, EUCOM preferred
  • DoD acquisition professional certifications

Location:

  • This position requires on-site work in Los Angeles, CA and/or Colorado Springs, CO and will require approximately 50% travel

Compensation:

The typical pay range for this position is USD $135,000 - $165,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package).



Deliverable(s)

Deliverables Deliverables will be in the format of MS word, excel and requirements management systems engineering tools. The nature of this work will, at times, require a quick response to stringent deadlines and always in a high quality, professional manner.
