Electrical Engineer III - Plymouth, MN - Hybrid

Daikin Applied is seeking an Electrical Engineer III who will research, develop, design and test electrical components, equipment, and systems.

Location: Hybrid, Plymouth, MN

What you will do:



  • Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, domestic and internal purposes
  • Design and direct engineering personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and determine methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products
  • Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses
  • Direct activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements
  • Direct and coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field and internal installations
  • Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of power electronic experience required in power design, power distribution, VFD's, electric and control motors
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in the HVAC industry preferred
  • Master's Electrician license
