JOB TITLE: Post Doctoral Research Associate - Geology & Geophysics JOB PURPOSE: Experimental geochemist to investigate fluid-rock interactions in enhanced geothermal systems ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will be working in a team environment, both with students on campus and industry collaborators off campus. SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS: Assist with mentoring graduate students REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: PhD in geochemistry, chemical engineering, chemistry, or related field. A Doctoral Degree is required for this position, however, consideration will be given to applicants that are currently pursuing their Doctoral Degree and will complete the degree prior to starting work. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with geochemistry of geothermal and hydrothermal systems; with geochemical laboratory experiments, geochemical modeling, and aqueous analytical geochemistry; and with writing and publishing scientific journal articles REQUIRED MATERIALS: Complete the online application and upload the following for a complete application: cover letter, resume or C.V. and contact information for four work-related references.
