Location: Various Projects as Assigned Position Summary Operate a variety of off highway construction vehicles used in earth moving operations, including but not limited to: articulating trucks, rigid framed haul trucks, agricultural tractors, in a safe and efficient manner. - Responsible for driving a safety culture which promotes Incident and Injury Free Performance.
- Safely and efficiently operate off highway construction vehicles for dust control and dirt compaction.
- Transport soil and other material to appropriate location for stockpiling or disposal.
- Use hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.
- Read and comply with safety plans, rules, maintenance instructions, training materials, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), warning tags, traffic signs and procedure manuals.
- Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- The following years of experience is required:
- Truck driver 1: Ten plus years of driving experience.
- Truck driver 2: Five plus years of driving experience.
- Truck driver 3: Two plus years of driving experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- The following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory. Company will provide additional training, as necessary.
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER training.
- Competent Person Safety Training
- 8-Hour Supervisory Training
- 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training
- First Aid and CPR
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Understands operational characteristics of a variety of off highway construction vehicles (including articulated dump trucks).
- Understanding of maintenance requirements of off highway construction vehicles.
- Knowledge of methods and materials used in general construction and maintenance work.
- Principles and techniques of field maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, ordinances, and rules involved in heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
- Safely and efficiently operate off highway vehicles.
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
- Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt.

Physical Demands & Work Environment This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing or walking on project sites, climbing in and out of equipment, and working in confined spaces or at heights. Work conditions and demands may vary, with possible exposure to heavy machinery, chemicals, dust, fumes, noise, and extreme weather. Proper PPE, including protective eyewear, gloves, a hard hat, and steel-toed boots, is required. Effective communication, tool use, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
