Description
The University of Texas at Austin seeks tenure-track assistant professor applicants for positions with a start date of Fall 2025. Candidates will be considered whose research makes connections to one or more of the following topical areas: Cancer Therapeutics, Materials, and Life Sciences Innovation. Note that these searches are in coordination with the AI Cluster hire Initiative at The University of Texas at Austin. As such, candidates are asked to highlight the development or application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or related methods in their proposed research. Candidates are encouraged to view these areas in the broadest sense in determining whether their application would be a match. Qualifications
A Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a related field is required. Application Instructions
Applications must be submitted electronically via Interfolio. We will begin evaluation of applications immediately and will continue throughout the academic year until positions are filled. Submission of applications by November 15, 2024 is strongly encouraged. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter, current curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests, a mentoring statement, and a statement of teaching philosophy and experience.
