We are seeking a motivated Pattern Production Assistant to support and potentially learn the skilled trade of Pattern Maker. Job Description: Milling and gluing wood to machine patterns Other prep work for pattern construction Completing various tasks during construction Mounting and rigging of patterns after construction Finishing work after mounting and rigging. Assist with maintenance of shop equipment; driving forklift, assist with housekeeping and other general duties. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment Computer literacy and experience with CAD-CAM or modeling software a plus Must speak, read and write in English Solid mechanical aptitude and hand eye coordination The ability to read blueprints, and or written specifications is a plus Wood shop knowledge a plus Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must obey safety rules and always wear personal protective equipment as required.
