Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of embedded coding experience and a passion for working in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. Job Role: Assist in the design, development and testing of embedded robotics code for a variety of Department of Defense (DoD) projects Work in a small-team environment to support the development of innovative systems in areas including Robot Behaviors, Path Planning, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning Design, develop, and implement embedded software and firmware for various robotic systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications. Develop and maintain software documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals. Conduct testing and debugging of robotic systems to ensure safety, functionality and expected performance. Participate in design reviews and provide input on hardware and software architecture decisions. Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in embedded systems development, with proficiency in coding with ROS, C/C++. Understanding of electronic circuitry and hardware design principles. Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, LiDAR, GPS, IMU). Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
