Overview

Stellar Solutions is seeking a Senior Program Scheduler. The person in this role will work with program office stakeholders and partners to ensure quality inputs and baseline integrity aligning with government and company standards. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player who understands how to effectively and independently drive timely and accurate support of the IMS, using MS Project.

We are seeking a critical thinker with expertise in scheduling best practices and compliance, able to make recommendations for alternative ways to view program information enabling program management decisions.



Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Associates degree and 10+ years of experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience; OR Master's degree and 6+ years of experience. Four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of MS Project experience, preferably with a software or system engineering background
  • Experience working with Program leadership, Control Account Managers and Product Owners to identify project slack and dependencies, develop, analyze, and manage schedules that comply with a program's Statement of Objectives (SOO), Technical Performance Requirements (TPRs), Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS), and the Contract Statement of Work (CSOW)
  • Experience establishing and monitoring the execution of the program towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria
  • Experience applying data analytics skills to simplify technical requirements, establish metrics, and apply data visualization through different formats and tools
  • Experience with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) project management guideline to ensure qualitative and quantitative schedule evaluation
  • Must have experience in communicating with all levels of management
  • This position requires TS/SCI with CI Poly

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira tool or equivalent tracking systems
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Experience working with Agile scrum teams, agile project management, agile software development, and/or software version control management
  • Experience with enterprise architecture, application planning, and deployment


Deliverable(s)

Deliverables will be in the format of MS Project IMS as directed by the customer and or prime. The nature of this work will, at times, require a quick response to stringent deadlines and always in a high quality, professional manner.
