Central Pet Distribution is hiring Warehouse Associates! Night shift - Monday through Friday

Do you love pets and love working in a fast-paced environment? Our growing company is seeking experienced warehouse associates to pull merchandise to complete orders using voice pick, and load/unload trucks with pet supply products to be delivered to pet retailers. Our Pet Distribution team works together to supply our customers with the nation's top brands of pet supplies like Nylabone, Kaytee, and Aqueon. Location: Central Pet Distribution Center - 11316 N. 46th Street #1, Tampa, FL 33617

Shift Details: Night Shift starting at 3:25pm until work is completed, Monday through Friday. This position receives an additional $1/hour shift premium.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

• Identify items using voice pick according to bin location, part number and/or description.
• Pick orders that are scheduled to ship that day and packaged merchandise to ensure safe transport.
• Inspect merchandise to endure only clean and quality product is used to complete the order.
• Utilize pallet jacks to pull orders and load trailers (bulk/dock only).
• Keep area clean and neat at all times.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:

• 1+ year related warehouse experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to read and write legibly in English, carry out oral instructions in English, count and do basic math.
• Forklift experience and RF scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds, safely, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work is conducted in a warehouse environment with temperature changes depending on the season.
• Working with or near conveyors depending on assignment.
