What You'll Do:

Develop, Design, Review and Edit Training. Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and edit leadership development training content based on our talent's identified gaps. Build both interactive e-learning modules and classroom instructional content. Assist in the development and implementation of training reinforcement plans through micro learnings and surveys capturing transfer of knowledge.

Analyze Data. Conduct analysis of various types of employee survey responses to effectively create actionable plans.

Participate in various OD Projects. Examples may include providing change management and communication support. Creating competency models to help with career progression guidance. Reformatting, updating, and creating job descriptions.

Your assignment will be in Birmingham, Alabama at Vulcan's corporate headquarters location.

Skills You'll Need:

Education. Must be enrolled and in good standing with your college or university. Must be pursuing a degree in a field related to Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Organizational Behavior. Senior, or Graduate level student is preferred.

Experience. Experience in developing training content, working in a Learning Management System, creating job descriptions and competencies is preferred..

Interpersonal Skills. Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with executives and hourly employees alike. Must have the ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and executive presence.

Time Management Skills. Must have strong time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must have the ability to work well without direct supervision.

Technology Skills. Experience with an LMS, Storyline 360, and video editing software is a plus. Must have strong technology skills and experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
