Keysight's Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located in Santa Rosa, CA exists to provide precision machined components that enable the capabilities of Keysight's industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As Machining Operations Supervisor, you will lead a highly skilled team operating our machining and tooling areas with a focus on Turning and Wire EDM Machining applications and processes.

Responsibilities include:

* Ensuring a safe work environment.
* Coordinating day-to-day production activities of employees.
* Providing team leadership, coaching, development, and fostering a cooperative and effective work environment.
* Capacity planning by resource based on company revenue needs and NPI support needs.
* Implementing solutions to team and department challenges.
* Tactical execution of business processes and controls.
* Accountability for department performance against operational metrics including productivity, process yield, manufacturing variances and continuous improvement activities.
* Developing and maintaining partnerships with managers and key stakeholders in all related functional areas to assure processes, schedules, and resources meet business goals.
* Following quality guidelines with strict adherence to the Quality Management System working closely with our Quality and Engineering Teams.

* Typically requires the same level of education as the employees being supervised plus a minimum of 5 years of management experience.
* Requires basic management skills and ability to execute processes.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and technical management experience.
* Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* General computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Tools; Outlook, Excel, Word.
* Experience with machine manufacturing or other precision manufacturing processes in a leadership role.

Preferred:
* Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software.

* Experience with Lean practices and Kaizen projects a plus.

Pay Rate:

USD $72,140.00 - USD $120,230.00 Year
