Join Bio-Rad's Life Science Group in developing innovative products for oncology research and biopharmaceutical testing applications. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development of new products utilizing state-of-the-art droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) technology. Your responsibilities will include planning and conducting experiments, designing and optimizing ddPCR assays, analyzing and presenting data, and problem-solving. You will be involved in all stages of the product development process from proof-of-concept through launch and will help deliver applications and products that empower our customers to improve healthcare outcomes for millions.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Perform effective experiments for the development and optimization of new ddPCR assays.
  • Analyze and interpret data, summarize and document the experimental results and effectively communicate and present data to the team and project stakeholders.
  • Write verification test plans and reports to support new product development.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges that may arise during assay development.
  • Assist and collaborate with a team of research scientists and associates to achieve shared goals.


What You Bring:




  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related life science field.

  • Work Experience: At least 1-5 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably with PCR assays.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in designing and executing experiments, data analysis, and problem-solving. Hands on experience with molecular biology laboratory techniques and nucleic acid technology relating to PCR, qPCR, and/or digital PCR, preferably relating to designing and optimizing PCR-based assays.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to present results clearly and concisely and work collaboratively within a team.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analysis skills to interpret experimental results and ability to identify and overcome challenges during assay development.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, JMP and other tools for experimentation and analysis.
  • Ability to self-motivate, multitask and make intellectual contributions to multiple projects. Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $66,560 to $90,300 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
