ABOUT THE JOB

Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting product requirements. Responsible for assisting with inside sales growth efforts through product and customer knowledge to identify opportunities to grow current products. Work with all departments as a resource for information on product lines.

Responsibilities:



    • Research and source potential customers using various resources including phone, internet, professional networking, etc.
    • Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information trends to identify new sales opportunities.
    • Answers inquiries and close new accounts.
    • Provide product information to internal customers.
    • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
    • Establish and maintain customer relationships.
    • Provide technical support for customers.
    • Perform customer needs assessments to cultivate additional business.
    • Keep Industrial manager informed of new sales.
    • Complete monthly reports.
    • Work closely with Operations and the Technical & New Product Development team.


      ABOUT YOU



      • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
      • One to three years of experience in chemical, manufacturing, distribution, customer service, and sales field
      • Strong oral and written communications skills
      • Strong personal skills needed to interact with all departments within company
      • Ability to identify key personal within accounts to further selling cycle
      • Understand core strengths and identify appropriate opportunities
      • Strong negotiation skills preferred
      • Understand organizational strengths
      • Ability to gain supplier and customer's trust
      • Desire to WIN!, competitive in nature
