Overview

Huitt-Zollars' Prescott / Phoenix, AZ office has a poistion for a qualified E.I.T. with experience in Civil Engineering Design and Drafting. Position responsibilities will incrementally increase over time and with experience. Experienced in grading, drainage, and paving and utility design. Responsibilities include plan preparation of water, sewer, paving, grading and drainage plans for private and public projects. The individual must be capable of and responsible for delivering a quality product in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering
  • EIT registration or ability to obtain within 1 year
  • 0-3 yr. of experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Proven design experience, ability to use 3-D design software is a plus
  • Design experience with underground utilities, paving, grading, and utilities
  • Experience with producing accurate and complete construction plans and reports
  • Ability to work above 40 hours as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, communicating engineering information clerly and concisely
  • Ability to learn and conform to company CAD standards
  • Willingness/ability to assume increased responsibilities when presented
