Description
Mission Statement The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Position Summary The art instructor will work with the Outreach Community Coordinator to create a school year calendar Arts education curriculum for ASP and community children. Will work as needed teaching various arts techniques and skills. Final products can be shown in Special Seasonal Salvation Army events, exhibits, and Music and Arts Recitals. In addition will schedule days to teach music and engage with children and adults. Essential Functions Responsibilities
Specific Duties:
Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Minimum Qualifications
