Daikin Applied is now hiring for a Quality Engineering Intern in Staunton, VA!

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineering Intern to join our dynamic Quality team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of quality engineering within a leading organization. Location: Staunton, VA in office 5 days per week

Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May-August 2025

What you will do:



  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons for quality problems
  • Utilize data mining techniques to pinpoint root causes of quality problems
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified issues
  • Work closely with team members to analyze processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Document existing processes and procedures related to quality control


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related major
  • Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Staunton, VA office
