Overview: Cut Fresh is a premier supplier of fresh cut produce in Wisconsin, looking to fill a full-time position for a Receiving Clerk. Position Description This is a 2nd shift position (approximately 4:00 pm - 1:00 am) Sunday through Friday (not every Sunday. Hours, start times, and end times may vary slightly based on production needs.) The Receiving Clerk is part of a team responsible for inventory and tracking deliveries of produce and related products. This person will keep track of shipment schedules for both incoming and outgoing shipments, track inventory counts and check the items in inventory for damages or discrepancies. Other duties and responsibilities of a Receiving Clerk include: Responsibilities: Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods. Ensuring no damaged items are sent or received. Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list. Updating the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory. Packaging products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary. Physical Demands: The employee is required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, climb, reach overhead and bend to the floor. Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently. The employee is subject to production environment approximately 90 percent of the work time. (wet environment with temperatures < 45 degrees) High noise levels from operating machines. Physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills: High school or equivalent required. Previous receiving or inventory experience required. Must have strong and effective verbal and written communication. Must be computer literate, be proficient in basic math, and read/write in English for department reporting and record keeping. Bilingual - English/Spanish desirable. Experience in the Fruit and Produce processing Industry preferred.
