The University of Missouri (MU) seeks applications and nominations for outstanding faculty candidates with a focus in Social Sciences. This recruitment is part of MizzouForward, the most important strategic investment in research excellence and student success in the history of the university. This initiative will leverage existing institutional strengths and address national health, scientific, and scholarly priority areas through innovation and collaboration. Successful candidates will have outstanding, competitive, externally funded research programs in any area of the Social Sciences. Positions are available in all units across campus and joint appointments between multiple departments are possible. As a comprehensive residential campus, MU takes pride in a rich interdisciplinary network of researchers. Examples of existing multi-disciplinary resources, centers and institutes are the Missouri Center for Addiction Research and Engagement, the Missouri Prevention Science Institute, the Family & Relationship Research Network, Center for Family Policy and Research, as well as the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment.
