Specific Responsibilities and Tasks

College Budget Management:



  • Review Responsibility Reports for College of Education programs and departments

    • Compare report with monthly transaction log for each department
    • Identify and report discrepancies to Dean, Director of Academic Finances
    • Work with Director of Academic Finances on corrective actions
    • Monthly report to Program Directors

      • Transaction log, balance update




  • Day to Day support for college and college departments/programs

    • Prepare and submit journal entries and check deposits
    • Monitor accounts payable and receivable at departmental level


  • Management of Contracts

    • Work with faculty when contract or partnerships are established to finalize contracts
    • Oversee the development and management of any corresponding financial accounts for these contracts


  • Grant and Scholarship Account Management

    • Oversee the financial side of grant and scholarship accounts, ensuring that the correct expenses and revenue are charged to and from the accounts


  • Supplemental and Overload Pay/Adjunct Pay

    • Submit any additional faculty and staff pay
    • Submit adjunct pay
