Course / Program Description Gain a broad exposure and intimate knowledge of the business aspects of sustainability through real-world business case studies. Key elements of this course include identifying practical tools, measuring performance and reviewing best practices. Upon completion, you have an understanding of the challenging and often competing interests between businesses and the regulatory, social and technological efforts occurring globally. Job Description The Department of Public Health and Sustainability at UCLA Extension offers a wide variety of certificate programs and courses including transfer-credit (XL), post-baccalaureate credit-bearing (400-level), continuing education (CEU) credit, and non-credit-bearing general interest courses. UCLA Extension courses and certificate programs offer students the opportunity to learn from highly qualified practitioners who hold advanced degrees, are passionate about teaching and impart knowledge within their field of expertise. Applications to teach are accepted throughout the year in order to fill immediate program needs and to increase the depth of the instructor pool. Qualified applicants who have a MBA or a Master's degree in Environmental Studies, preferably specialization in Sustainability as well as college-level teaching experience are encouraged to apply. This course will be offered in the hybrid (in-person) instruction format using the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).
