As an Physical Therapist in our Home Health Care Division, you will be required to conduct Therapy in our patients homes. This position has a coverage area of Macomb County. This area includes but is not limited to: Gross Point, St. Clair Shores, Washington and Armanda. GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the therapy supervisor implements medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs, (e.g., heat, water, exercise, etc.) directed towards relieving pain and/or restoring physical functions to rehabilitative clients. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required to relieve pain and/or restore a physiological function. LICENSE/CERTIFACTIONS: * Requires current Physical Therapist licensure in the State of Michigan. * Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED: * Must be able to lift and position clients and perform treatment modalities. * High level of interpersonal skill is required to effectively interface with clients and physicians. * Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.
