Bachelor of Health Sciences Program - Active Lab

UMKC School of Nursing and Health Studies in partnership with AmeriCorps

Job Description

The Active Lab at UMKC School of Nursing and Health Studies is seeking individuals to fill up to 10 Public Health AmeriCorps Member positions. The Lab is seeking help with two main projects:

The evidence is clear that American youth suffer from high rates of obesity, inactivity, and poor nutrition. Adolescence seems to be a critical time in a child's life where behaviors are learned or reinforced. With sustainability at the core of this project, we have recruited organizations who are experts in delivering each component of the intervention.
