Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant to Director facilitates and administers the day-to-day operations of the Director or Chair of an academic branch or of a multi-faceted, self-contained operating unit/division. Develops and manages projects to help achieve the mission and goals of the department. Serves as primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies. Leads and guides administrative support staff, may independently administer a defined program initiative or service operation for the unit. Oversees the planning of meetings and events.

The NM Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) is a new P-30 Center funded by National Institute of Aging (PI, Rosenberg). The Center has a Research Education Component (REC), led by Ginossar. To support the mission and work of the REC, the Administrative Admin Assistant to Dir (AAD) Facilitates and administers the day-to-day operations of the Director of the REC. They will Develop and manage projects to help achieve the mission and goals of the REC. This is a term position for one year.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
