The Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the University of Missouri is seeking a skilled Autism Training Specialist.
Shift
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in special education, behavior analysis, speech-language pathology, or a related field. 5 years of experience in lieu of a graduate degree. Experience working in classrooms with students with autism as well as experience providing trainings to audiences of various sizes, particularly educators and parents.Preferred Qualifications include BCBA, training in AAC, experience with students from diverse backgrounds, and/or experience working with older individuals with autism, experience working with individuals with autism in home, school and/or clinical settings, experience providing trainings to audiences of various sizes. Master's degree in special education, behavior analysis, speech-language pathology, or a related field. Anticipated Hiring Range
