Overview

This Maintenance role in Plant Services performs minor and major equipment and building repairs to keep the physical plant operational and safe.

Type of Opportunity: Full Time, non-exempt
FTE: 1.0
Work Schedule: Weekday Schedule Monday-Friday, limited on-call requirements

Qualifications

Depending on qualifications there are multiple tiers for this position. The compensation range is dependent upon the tier.

Maintenance - Plant Services III

  • High School Diploma or GED plus additional trade or vocational training in General Maintenance.
  • One to three years experience in maintenance.

Maintenance - Plant Services IV

  • High School Diploma or GED plus additional trade training.
  • Current license or certification in a field relevant to the needs of the facility maintenance department.
    • Examples: Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC licensure.
  • Three to five years experience in facility maintenance.
  • Must be able to properly interpret verbal and written instructions from supervisory personnel.
