About the Department |
The Psychology Department consists of 29 faculty members, the staff of the advising center, the staff of the Psychoeducational Clinic, and the 4 members of our office staff, as well as over 700 undergraduate majors and 125 graduate students pursuing their doctoral degrees.
The faculty are outstanding scholars, many of whom have won awards for teaching and research and/or are fellows in the major professional societies in Psychology.
Faculty have received research grants and training grants from the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes for Health, the National Institute on Aging, the Army Research Laboratory, the Army Research Institute, the Department of Education, and numerous companies. |
Essential Job Duties |
The Department of Psychology is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable lecturer to teach a range of school psychology courses. The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-quality education and mentorship to students, fostering their academic and professional growth. The lecturer will also collaborate with other faculty members and engage with industry partners to enhance the department's academic programs and research initiatives.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
Requires master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience. |
Other Required Qualifications |
Strong commitment to excellence in teaching is expected. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Experience teaching at the college level. Applied experience as a school psychologist. |
