The Control and Autonomous Systems Engineering Group is dedicated to developing highly complex, reliable space systems with core capabilities in precision pointing, low noise and high-power electronics, firmware, and software. We have the unique ability to take programs from initial concept through full qualification, all within our group. Position Description
In the Technical Staff role you will be empowered to lead significant portions of space electronics programs that have huge impact for the nation. In this role you combine leadership with individual contributions through all phases of hardware development: requirement definition and functional decompositions, architecture studies, detailed circuit design and component selection, fabrication and assembly oversight, testing, troubleshooting and system integration. You will also be expected to prepare and present technical briefings for sponsors (interim status reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, etc.) You will frequently lead small teams consisting of 3-6 peers or more junior engineers for larger design efforts. Therefore, hands on experience and leadership acumen are critical to the role. Given the wide range of work in our Group, we seek the following attributes
