Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is dedicated to transforming health care for New Jersey and the nation through innovation and excellence in education, discovery, patient and family-centered care and addressing the health of our diverse community. Participate in the clinical care of patients, principally those with cerebrovascular disorders, under the administrative structure of the University Medical Group according to a schedule determined by the Division Chief. The principal activity will be with inpatients.
Faculty duties at
RWJUH:
1. Management of patients with conditions that require Neurocritical Care
2. Work collaboratively with Stroke team, Neurosurgery and Acute Care Surgery to develop a
NCC service at
RWJUH and a
NCC call schedule
3. Provide attending coverage as a neuro-intensivist
4. Participate in teaching of medical students, residents, and stroke fellows
5.Reports directly to the director of the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit and chief of the division of Stroke and Neurocritical Care.
6.Provide leading medical and clinical aspects of the service.
7.Participate in policy development, policy compliance and professional and patient education.
8.Monitor clinical indicators to determine if measurable standards are met.
9.Work with hospital leadership team to establish a framework for the provision of safe, high-quality care, treatment and services.
10 Attend meetings and provide support to committees and staff in policy development.
