JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) is seeking students to fill TLT Coach positions. Typical duties include assisting students, faculty, and staff with learning how to use different technology tools, services, and software to accomplish their day-to-day teaching and learning and/or business requirements. These tools and services include Canvas, Zoom, Kaltura but not limited to these tools. Positions are part-time, 10-20 hours per week, with hours ranging from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Coaches will be required to support technology related faculty engagement sessions and training sessions both in an online and in-person environments. Experience working with Zoom, in both teaching and learning and business contexts. A working knowledge of other Penn State services and approved software such as Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Sites at Penn State, Media Commons, and Canvas is desired, along with effective teaching and communication skills. In addition, candidates must have the ability and willingness to self-learn about technology tools and software using online resources, in a short span of time.
