The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for:
  • Providing and coordinating care for pregnant women carrying a fetus with a congenital anomaly from prenatal evaluation through delivery
  • Support in the perioperative setting for fetal intervention patients: Providing labor/delivery/postpartum expertise to fetal intervention patients undergoing fetal surgery. Providing postpartum specific care to select DPH approved deliveries.
  • Shared oversight of daily clinical in collaboration with Co-Clinical Coordinator colleague and the Maternal Fetal Care Center and Fetal Surgery Program
  • Hiring, orientation, professional development and annual evaluations of RN staff
  • Ensuring staff and unit readiness for regulatory visits
  • Maintaining standards for patient safety and quality of care and ensuring exceptional patient and family experience
  • Reviewing SERs
  • Addressing topics that arise around patient and family satisfaction
  • Working 40 hours per week: four, 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum of 5 years of Obstetric, Labor & Delivery/Postpartum experience
  • Nursing leadership experience required
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated learning
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage a dynamic environment
