Overview 0.6 FTE, or 0.75, Nigths, 7p- 7a. Non-Exempt. Full Time Benefits Eligible. Flat rate: $48.00 per hour. Assists patients to move rapidly, uneventfully, and as effectively as possible through their episode of care while maintaining quality and safety as a priority. Delegates, directs, oversees and provides developmentally appropriate patient care. Practices professional nursing and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and maintains a current Ohio Nursing License. About C4B: -48 bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, caring for acutely ill neonates with a wide range of diagnoses- extreme prematurity, surgical, respiratory distress, sepsis, and many more! -Nurse to patient ratio of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 depending on the acuity of the patient -We are a multidisciplinary team dedicated to provide top notch care to our patients and their families during the neonatal period -We are looking for energetic, dedicated, flexible RNs to join our collaborative team Assists patients to move rapidly, uneventfully, and as effectively as possible through their episode of care while maintaining quality and safety as a priority. Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
Qualifications Education Requirement: BSN. Licensure Requirement: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio. Certifications: Current CPR certification required. Must be willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by your manager based on business unit. Skills: Quality and safety patient care skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to provide culturally competent care with a demonstrated commitment to ensuring quality and safety initiatives. Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. OCCASIONALLY: 1-33% OF TIME (0.5 TO 2,5 HOURS) Climb stairs/ladders. Lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs or greater with assistance. Pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs or greater may need assistance. Exposure to fumes/gases/vapors. Exposure to biohazard waste. Working with patient equipment and machinery. Working with power equipment/tools. FREQUENTLY: 34-66% OF TIME (2.6 TO 5.0 HOURS) Bend/twist. Squat/kneel. Sitting. Reaching above shoulder. Repetitive hand/arm usage. Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs.
