Status: Full Time Shift: 7 days on 7 Days Off Hours: Evenings 1430-0100 Schedule: Wednesday - Tuesday Holiday Rotation Required qualifications: Virginia Pharmacy Technician license National CPhT license through PTCB or NHA Minimum 1 year Pharmacy Tech Experience Minimum 3 months of IV Room Experience Preferred qualifications: Prior hospital experience preferred Job responsibilities: Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist Measure, mix, count out, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription orders Responsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe, effective, patient-focused, and cost-efficient drug therapy.
