Position Summary Under direction from the Research Scientist III (RSIII) in PHI's Cancer Registry of Greater California (CRGC), the Research Associate III (RAIII) will support short- and long-term research projects at CRGC's Research Unit. This will include coordinating and assisting with routine research work including data collection efforts, management, and analysis. The RAIII will be responsible for recommending feasible work plans, ensuring the day-to-day data collection work is going per plan, identify potential issues that may risk achieving project goals, and come up with potential solutions to share with the PI and the rest of the team for discussion. The RAIII will also be involved with data management and analysis for research projects, and assist with the development of research protocols, technical documents and reports, as well as manuscripts and conference presentations. This is a regular full-time hybrid position located in Sacramento, CA. The incumbent is required to be based within 50-mile radius of Sacramento, CA, and be able to work both remotely and in person in the Sacramento office as required. Some travel within and outside California for outreach research projects or other work activities may be required. Full salary range for this position: $62,968 to $90,167 per year. The typical hiring range for this position is from $62,968 (minimum) to $76,568 (midpoint). The starting salary is determined based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
