Job Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing warehouse operations and activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and conveyance order fulfillment. They ensure that warehouse processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a safe working environment.

A Day In The Life

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and delivering materials to the shop floor. Ensure accurate and timely processing of conveyance orders. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse operations.
  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, include hiring, training, and conducting evaluations. Foster positive work environment
  • Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and compliance by providing safety training, maintaining clean and organized work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels through cycle counting and conduct regular stock checks and audits. Implement inventorycontrol procedures and address any discrepancies in inventory records
  • Coordinate suppliers, transporters, and customers to ensure efficient logistics. Oversee loading and unloading of goods and ensure proper handling and storage
  • Address and resolve any operational issues and staff concerns
  • Utilize SAP and inventory tracking and management. Implement and oversee SAP transaction and solutions to improve warehouse efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement change

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • High School diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good understanding of inventory management and logistics.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
