WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES)...

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant that will assist the clinical staff in performing their duties and ensure that functions are in the scope of practice and completed within established policies and procedures with the supervision of a licensed medical professional.

Essential Duties:

  • Medication Inventory Control to include check in, separate, and file deliveries of customized pre-packaged medications at the program delivery sites.
  • Provide administrative support including the documentation of medication regimens, and related duties as assigned by the Director of Community Support Program.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
  • Attend required trainings and meetings as assigned.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU...

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Superior organization skills.
  • Superior computer skills as evidenced by ability to navigate an electronic health records and other electronic platforms including Microsoft office.
  • Demonstrate ability to follow proper medication inventory protocols and report discrepancies.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a team-based environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Medical Assistant Certification is required.
  • Three or more years in a medical assistant role.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Prior experience with medication inventory is preferred.
