Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Cyber Engineer, you will be part of a team developing, securing, and sustaining cybersecurity tools across various development, lab, and operational environments.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

  • Troubleshooting Cyber software applications such as CyberArk, HBSS, ACAS, etc.
  • Working knowledge of implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure compliance of system security requirements

What sets you apart:

  • Utilizing patch management, scanning & auditing, security event monitoring, host-base security and multi-factor tools
  • Excellent technical documentation and verbal communication skills required for presentation of cyber issues and reports
  • Experience utilizing the Risk Management Framework

Workplace Options:

This position requires a DoD 8570 IAT-II, or higher, level certification at start.

While on-site, you will be a part of the GDMS team in Colorado Springs.

Target salary range: USD $107,520.00/Yr. - USD $119,280.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
