Description General Responsibilities: Define and implement customer's strategy, for the Americas region, in order to meet the company targets in terms of growth & profitability. Qualifications: The Ideal candidate will: Key Competencies: Good knowledge of the automotive market, knowledge of manufacturing processes and technical understanding, ability to develop a regional customer strategy, strong ability to work in a multicultural environment, excellent customer focus, solid financial acumen, strong technical negotiation skills, ability to lead a cross-functional team (including Application Engineering, Sales, and Project Management), fluent English proficiency, and intermediate proficiency in German.
Additionally, the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools is also required. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Studies or related field Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the Automotive industry at Tier 1 level, Experience working with European OEMs is preferred Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Working conditions: Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Travel: Domestic and international may be required as needed. The candidate will occasionally need to travel to multiple global locations to support project development.
