Duties/Responsibilities


Duties/Responsibilities

This role will be 100% research and management-based within the Laboratory of Archaeology. Special consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in spatial analysis, data analytics, and archaeological approaches to "big-data." There will be a series of deliverables for the position that are linked to key duties of the position. Duties include development of probability models taking into account key environmental differences across the state of Georgia, identifying "at risk" sites endangered by erosion and flooding, directly working to with ITOS to integrated developed models into online databases, and potential management of undergraduate and graduate student assistants in the Laboratory. There will be opportunities to collaborate on publications related to this project.
