General Responsibilities:

The Scheduler is often the first point of contact for our clients (patients, their families, and outside providers) and is a key position in setting expectations for the client experience. The Scheduler will ensure that our clients are presented with a warm, friendly, and helpful demeanor when calling into our clinic and scheduling appointments. In addition to ensuring appointments are scheduled correctly and calls are handled appropriately, the Scheduler is responsible for entering patient information into the electronic medical record in a timely and efficient manner. They will also help maintain a highly functional, efficient department by staying up to date on how to properly complete expected job duties and responsibilities. Must be able to handle large volumes of calls.

Requirements: at least 1 year of office scheduling experience. Primarily a sedentary role of computer, telephone and desk work, data entry, copying, faxing. Some stooping and bending, moving about the office may be required. No heavy lifting is required. Strong communication skills, confidentiality.
