Job Overview:

As an integral member of our team, you will evaluate patients psychotherapeutic needs, perform psychological testing, and provide psychotherapy for our outpatient populations as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • PhD, PsyD, or EdD
  • NJ Psychology license
  • AHA BLS Provider Certification
  • Valid Driver s license
  • Experience working with children/teens on the Autism spectrum
  • 1+ year of job-related experience
  • 1+ year of children and/or adolescent experience
  • Experience with cognitive behavioral modification
  • Ability to relate therapeutically with the professional team, children, adolescents and their parents/significant others

Preferred:

  • Experience with standard battery testing or autism testing

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • NJ Psychology license
  • AHA BLS Provider Certification
  • Valid Driver s license

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full Time
  • 40 hours/week
  • Flexible Scheduling
  • Partial remote includes after school/evening hours (ex: 4-7pm)

Essential Functions:

  • Performing complete psycho-diagnostic evaluations and Identify realistic goals for psychotherapy
  • Providing effective individual, family and group psychotherapy
  • Attending program development and case conferences for patients treated or evaluated
  • Understanding developmental needs of patient when planning and implementing treatments
  • Obtaining and interpreting patient s behavior based on an understanding of cognitive, bio-psychosocial and aging processes
  • Providing in-services to staff and community agencies as necessary
  • Supervising staff, fellows, interns and externs as needed
