SRE is seeking a Senior Consultant who will support strategy development, planning, and execution for programs and initiatives in the areas of recruiting, outreach, retention, succession planning, and training and leadership development. The ideal candidate will be PROSCI certified and have experience in strategic workforce planning, organizational change management and communication, knowledge management, data analysis and reporting, and meeting design and facilitation. The candidate will create impactful deliverables (written materials, briefings, data visualization) and must be extremely comfortable briefing senior leadership.

Duties include, but are not limited to:



  • Provide support, expertise, and recommendations across multiple workstreams, including but not limited to knowledge management, change management, and succession planning
  • Think strategically, translate strategies into actionable plans, and develop (or provide key input into) project schedules and work products
  • Analyze processes and programs to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Perform gap analyses, aggregate results, and create recommendation reports
  • Support working groups to help drive, integrate, and coordinate large-scale organizational transformation initiatives
  • Design and support the implementation of change management strategies focused on stakeholder engagement, adoption, and communication
  • Develop internal and external communication products, including but not limited to emails, blog posts, plans, processes, fact sheets, flyers, presentations, and reports to convey information and facilitate stakeholder and senior leadership buy-in
  • Identify and document knowledge management requirements; recommend and develop knowledge management approaches and tools; document a knowledge management process for storage, archival, quality management, and tracking; and, support knowledge tracking, sharing, communication, and training
  • Identify key metrics; collect, review, and aggregate data into spreadsheets; perform data analysis; and develop dashboards and visualizations to support decision making
  • Design and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and perform benchmarking studies to identify workforce trends within the Federal government and private sectors
  • Work with the Project Manager to effectively engage the customer, deliver presentations, lead customer meetings, resolve issues, and exceed customer expectations
  • Coordinate the development of documentation and briefings to be presented to senior leadership
  • Provide meeting design and facilitation support, including agendas, logistics, and minutes
  • Must possess integrity and be service focused at all times
  • Exhibit flexibility and resilience within both client organization and SRE
  • Must possess a drive for continual learning and professional growth


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in change management
  • Master's Degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in change management
  • PROSCI certification is required
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $80,000 - $150,000/year. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. SRE considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, SRE adheres to all state and federal requirements regarding salary to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SRE's total compensation package for employees.

Work Environment:

The primary work location of this position is Washington D.C. Metro area, remote work is allowed but not guaranteed. If you live outside the commutable area, travel expenses are not reimbursed to the primary work location.
