Stockroom Clerk Location:Culver City, CA Schedule/Shift:7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday Pay:$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Job Summary The Cashier / Stockroom Clerk provides customer service while supporting daily retail, cashiering, inventory, and stockroom operations. This role processes in-person and email orders, handles point-of-sale transactions, assists customers with product inquiries, and supports order fulfillment. The position also involves receiving, stocking, organizing, and handling merchandise, including operating a pallet jack and assisting with deliveries. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, retail experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities Provide professional and helpful customer service in person and through email. Process customer orders, point-of-sale transactions, and payment activities accurately. Respond to customer questions regarding products, availability, and order status. Receive, unpack, stock, and organize merchandise. Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records. Prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery. Assist with loading and unloading incoming deliveries. Operate a pallet jack in accordance with established safety procedures. Perform general material-handling duties, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Maintain clean, organized, and safe stockroom and storage areas. Support daily retail and departmental operations. Manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively. Job Requirements Previous customer service experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency and ability to process orders electronically. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely perform general warehouse and material-handling duties. Ability to operate or learn to operate a pallet jack. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and a professional approach to customer service. Preferred Qualifications Previous retail or cashiering experience. Experience with point-of-sale systems and order processing. Previous inventory management or stockroom experience. Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or merchandise-handling experience.
