Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: *
Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, or SQL Server. *
Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency. *
Ensure data integrity, security, and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery plans. *
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas and data models. *
Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures. *
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. *
Implement and maintain database security policies to protect sensitive information. *
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in database management. Qualifications: *
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. *
Atleast 12 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role. *
Proficiency in database management systems such as Oracle, or SQL Server. *
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with query optimization. *
Familiarity with database backup and recovery tools and techniques. *
Understanding of data security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR). *
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. *
Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: *
Experience with cloud database services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Snowflake). *
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB). *
Knowledge of database automation and monitoring tools.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $115,000 per year Location
